Ekisho Clan



History:
The first known among the Ekisho clan to fully possess the power to control the crystal element was a man named Takai. This was over 100 years ago; back when Orochimaru was performing devastating experiments on test subjects he saw with special abilities. Takai was a Genin in the Leaf village at the time, but was kidnapped by Orochimaru’s ninja while on a mission in the mountains for his experiments. Takai’s family was known for a small bloodline; one that would allow any member of the clan to create a solid shell of armor around their body that resembled a crystal. That was extent of their clan though; it was no stronger than that. Unfortunately, after being held prisoner for 20 years, Takai escaped his imprisonment but was forever changed by Orochimaru and his experiments.

So much mutation had taken place in Takai’s body that he was literally a crystal down to the cellular level. His body could be turned into a diamond if he wanted to in battle. It was also discovered that his new bloodline trait was much stronger than before he was kidnapped. He could take any earthen substance such as water, earth, and wood and change it into a diamond-like substance with ease. With this knowledge, Takai set back to Konoha and after many years of training with the Kage, was able to develop many jutsu from his new crystal clan and make the Ekisho prosper in the Leaf village.

The Ekisho clan has survived all four of the Great Ninja Wars due to their mastery in crystalline armor that is nearly impenetrable. Even though their clan is few in numbers, it is a clan that is very difficult to destroy. Currently, there is no leader of the clan. 50 years ago during the Second Great Ninja War, the Ekisho were targeted as threats by many other clans and villages, and were hunted down and brutally killed in massive numbers. Even today there are some that believe the Ekisho are inferior to all other clans while others want to harness their crystalline power. Ever since that war, the clan has been separated from each other; members living all over the country side from the Ash village to Aurora village. Some are even rogue ninja living off of the land deep in the mountains or deserts.

The only known surviving members of this clan are Icisia, and Mirai. Mirai has gone to live in the Blood village where she became a Veroshi. As for Icisia, her location is unknown.

Strengths: Members of the Ekisho are able to make nearly any substance into a crystal to use in battle; ranging from water, wood, earth, metal, to even other plants and animals. If one is caught in the way of an Ekisho master’s path for too long, even their own body can be made into crystal to the cellular level. This is a rare occurrence though, for the Ekisho have made a pact never to crystallize any human being or animal unless absolutely necessary for life. If one does crystallize a human being, he/she will be put in trial at their village and a punishment will be determined whether it was necessary or not to have turned a person into a statue. Among the Ekisho clan, crystallizing a person is the biggest of taboo and the most dishonoring act in the world. Any member who does this are permanently shunned from the clan forever. The only people among the clan that have been known to crystallize humans are the ones who previously had committed a horrid crime and were sentenced to death, but escaped and now live rogue.

Weaknesses: Even though this is a strong bloodline, members must use a considerable amount of chakra when performing their bloodline jutsu. Because of this, many members of the clan must be careful and aware of how much chakra they use when performing any jutsu in a battle, otherwise they will wear down much faster than their enemies will and the enemy will easily get the upper hand in battle. Their crystal forms do not work well against elements such as lightning, wind, and fire. Though these attacks can be blocked by the crystal, a user cannot turn these elements into crystal to help fight on their side. Therefore, fighting people of these elements make a battle more difficult for a crystal user.

Abilities: [Crystal Release] is a specialized field of Ninjutsu that can create crystal as well as manipulate already-existing crystals and crystalline structures. Rumor has it that this bloodline can crystallize any substance, meaning that earth, water, and wood techniques are utterly useless fighting against it. It has also been heard that an Ekisho member can even draw the water out of the air and crystallize it to their will. Another rumor is that if an Ekisho member’s life is on the line, they can even crystallize another human being, though they will be tried for murder if they do. Another feature of the Ekisho clan is that the color of a user’s crystal depends on what kind of person they are. That is, it depends on their aura. If a person is a cheery, fun person then their color of crystal will probably be yellow or pink. If a person is dark and evil, their crystal color will be red or black.

Bloodline: The name of the Ekisho clan’s bloodline trait is the Suisho trait. Suisho literally stands for crystal. This is why members have control over the crystal element.

Eyes: The Suisho eyes of the Ekisho clan are perhaps their best trait. When activated, the user has the ability to see everything around them. They do not have 360 degree vision like the Byakugan, but they ARE able to see through many objects as if it were X-ray vision. Members are able to do this only because their eyes are like microscopes. When they are activated, they can literally see everything from a fly on a wall over 100 feet away to the subatomic particles floating in the air; whatever they choose to focus on. This allows members to see the different substances that can be used to manipulate into crystal.


Element: Crystal (BL), members can learn other elements and their jutsu; they are just not as powerful as the crystal jutsu.

Name: Kessho no Yoroi (Crystal Armor)

Description:
The only apparent weakness of the crystal release is that it cannot crystallize either raw energy or chakra as they have no physical mass to crystallize, allowing a person with either energy-based jutsu such as wind, fire, and lightning techniques to properly counter it. Crystal Release is also susceptible to a specific sound wave frequency; because crystal requires a very precise build-up of molecules, the proper sound waves can break down the build-up before the crystal can properly form. This jutsu allows the person to become encased in a thin sheet of crystal to protect from blunt force trauma. This armor can also aid in performing stronger physical attacks. To the eye it looks invisible until the sunlight shines off of it and reflects the light to the enemy.

Name: Kyodai Rokkaku Shuriken (Giant Hexagonal Shuriken)

Description:
After hand signs, a giant crystal shuriken is created. It resembles a snowflake and when thrown at the enemy looks nearly invisible unless it reflects the sunlight.

Description:
A vast amount of crystal shuriken is thrown at the opponent; numbering in the hundreds. The crystalline is drawn from everywhere on the battlefield to create these shuriken. Therefore, any trees, plant, source of water, or even rocks are turned into crystal for this jutsu.

Description:
After hand signs, the user is encased in a prism of crystals. While doing this, he/she can hover in the air but is unable to maneuver the prism to avoid any powerful attacks, but since this type of crystal forming the prism is made of a diamond substance, it is nearly impossible to break. In addition, the user can focus his/her chakra into light through the prism and launch a powerful heat blast.

Description:
After hand signs, the user can create a dome of crystal around the enemy. It is highly durable from both external and internal attacks. This is usually used when fighting multiple enemies.

A wave of chakra is created which then turns into an almost impenetrable wall which also mends itself when cracked or broken.

Description:
After hand signs, the enemy is completely encased in crystal. The user can then control the crystal particles, moving it as if it were a prison or even crushing the enemy trapped inside. If the crystal is shattered, the bodies of the victims inside disintegrate along with the crystal particles.

Description:
This jutsu allows the user to create a large sharp rod attached to his/her wrist which can be used to impale a target. This jutsu resembles a giant crossbow on a person’s hand, and the crystal is so sharp that it can even stab through a boulder as if it were paper.

This technique can quickly make a blade formed of crystal upon the user’s arm, almost similar to how a ninja would use a Tanto. Blades can be formed on both arms if needed.

Description:
This is possibly one of the strongest attacks an Ekisho can perform. First, the user creates a number of crystal flowers. Then he/she grows these flowers into a gigantic labyrinth consisting of red crystals, confusing all of the enemies trapped inside it. The enemies will mostly be lost because of the fact that the red crystals reflect their personal image as well as generate mirror images of routes, paths, and details within the labyrinth, confusing and intimidating them. It is even capable of confusing the Byakugan and Sharingan.

Description:
The user crystallizes any material in the area, and then turns it into a dragon. It can be used as a means to travel or attack a target. Several dragons can be made and manipulated at once.

After the Jade Crystal Mirror jutsu has been performed, one can make multiple clones of his/herself emerge from the mirror. These clones are made of crystal so they are very hard to destroy. If destroyed though, they shatter into many pieces.

Description:
Mirrors appear all around the opponent and the battlefield. These mirrors are made of crystal, so they are very hard to destroy. Everywhere the enemy looks, there’s a mirror. Every time the enemy looks into one of the mirrors, he/she feels like he’s being stabbed in the chest. Over time, internal bleeding will commence from the brain believing the body is actually being injured.

Description:
This jutsu is only used when a person is hurt with a wide gash or lesion to the body. When there is a huge gash, the user will actually pull water particles from the air and transform them into crystals, then place the crystal on different parts of the wound. Once placed, the user will then pull the crystal together and connect them together to seal up the wound. This is a mean for stitches.

The user lets crystal grow around his/her hand. At the tip of his finger the crystal forms into a very sharp knife, a scalpel to be used for surgeries.

The user stomps the ground sending out a small wave of chakra. This chakra hits certain objects such as plants and rocks on the ground, turning them into land mines. If the enemy steps on one of these mines, they will explode.
