Madam Red is as her name indicates it. She is red, pure, bloody red; her hair, her eyes, her clothes are in this hated color, marking her presence with a stain of the liquid of life, somewhere in the middle of the groups of nobles or commoners she keeps around her.

Her face is oval with a pointy chin, colored with a pale white skin, the ideal complex for Japanese women. Her pointy face is framed by a pointy hair style; the red hair is cut in a hairstyle that goes from up her neck to down her chin, and a fringe that's shorter at the sides of her face and longer in the middle, the longest strands of hair tickling the bridge of her nose. Her lips are naturally red; people whisper that she's a demon who drank blood of young woman to stay eternally beautiful and young. Madam Red never countered nor argued that rumor and the color of her eyes aren't helping either with the disclaims about her not being a demon: they are as red as the blood that flows in her veins. Her eyebrows, of the same color as her hair, are thin and sharp, arcing her eyes with perfection.

Madam Red is a always will be a steampunk fan and dresser. Having a great fascination for the Victorian England and it's culture, she wears clothes and jewelry that reminds of that period, subtely mixed with modern views on that trend.
Her clothes are mostly red; normally consisting of red dress pants or skirt and matching waistcoat, under which is worn a ruffled white blouse. She also often wears a red hat that covers her face with a shadow and carries a red parasol around. When she is in mourning, she clads herself for one day only in midnight blue tinted with green and black, in respect for the deceased.
Madam Red also never wears ninja sandals, declaring they are uncomfortable and simply ugly to look at. She thus wears red and black boots with high heals that clicked on the floor, echoing her footsteps in every street and hallway she passed.

Her hands are thin and have long, white fingers which are often covered by black gloves. Those hands, so habile as a doctor are also covered with blood of the many murders she has caused. She keeps her nails short.
Her body is well proportioned, ready to make any man fall for her charms; her chest and hips leave nothing to desire and her legs are long and elegant along with every move she makes.
Being issued from high aristrocacy, our Madam Red fancies jewelry, wearing many rings and necklaces, always different ones for every single day of the month, fancying those with red or black stones embedded in them.

She has weapons on her, but dissimulates them cleverly under all the froufrous of her clothes and inside of her parasol and hat.

Personality:

Madam Red is seen as a rather crude and petty person with the first glance you get of her. Her frivolous side is a real character trait but is being lifted up along with her crude and almost perverted manners as a mask to hide behind.
In front of society, she'll be very outgoing, ready to party and play around, humiliating those who 'deserve' it and choke compliments out to those who are 'worth' it. But as most people in nobility does, it is all an act to stay on the good side of some big figures of society and to gather the information she needs and wants for her missions and assasinations.

Her real personality is more vicious and complicated. She harbors a general disregard for humans as she assasins and harms anyone she thinks that 'owes' that treatment. Nonthenless, once a person has made it's place in her heart, she can't get herself to kill that person, even if her own life is put at stake.
She likes to tease people by putting their lives in mild danger for her own amusement and simply abandon her friends in impossible situations to get 'a good show'. She is over protective of her 'clients' and she loses her well kept temper when someone dares to make her friends bleed, only blood she can't see nor smell without disgust and pain. She sees humans in general as "difficult" creatures and doesn't denie she is part of that group either, incapable of seeing much good in her own race. Insulting regularely her eventual teammates as "incopetent idiots" she always checks after them if the job has been well done. Usually, she'd mask her eventual irritation behind a dazzeling smile and say that "mistakes happen in life".

If Madam Red is violent, spiteful and hateful, she wouldn't ever lie; she does nor see the point or the need into doing so. Her motto in her life is to live it the fullest so that she doesn't have to be ashamed of anything once she'd have to face Death. She likes threatening people while holding a scalpel under their neck, ready to cut it and create a "magnificent rain of blood".

She has a real fascination for medecine, blood and genjutsus, having made of those three her speciality and job after having proved her genius in those matters in her own clan and village. She knows the human body better than anyone, knowing where to hit to kill it more or less slowly or instanteniously.

Likes: Madam Red loves red and blood. She harbors a great interest in medecine and surgery, experimenting happily away. The woman also has a fascination for genjutsus and cats, being the only things in life she really "loves". Even though she is cruel, she does like her friends and keep them close to her heart, almost showing herself as possesive and jealous about them.
Dislikes: Madam Red -hates- dogs. She can't stand them; they are too loud and obnoxious. Being late and untidy is also things on her hate list along with Bijuus. She does not resent the people who harbors those though, merely pitying them of having been linked to a demon for their lives. She also detests cold food, idiots and sloppy work.

A happy childhood:

Angelina Durless, her real name being Misaki Akane, has been raised in a rich family who were deeply bond with englishmen. As she kept on being in rich and frivolous entourage, she changed her name into the one she gets herself known with. She was a soft child, who loved everyone around her, letting the people enter her heart without any suspicions of eventual pain that was going to come.
The only thing that tarnished her perfect life was her red hair. No one in the family had that color of hair, not even anyone else in the Xzeno Clan she knew and felt ashamed for being different. So, she hid it under a large hat and kept the bangs hiding her face.

The Xzeno clan was a big part of her daily life; she saw elders and other members visit her parents quite often, both of them being important figures of it in the village. Her father's green eyes and the yellow ones of her mother always fascinated her, along with the seals she had seen used many times. But she had never been initiated to it, to the great surprise of herself and her older sister, who was a great used of Earth, just like their father.
It was because her chakra stayed stubbornly neutral, not letting them find out what element she was; Angelina was incapable of executing any element related jutsu and thus shunned away from the Clan's matters until her body finally adapted itself to an element.

Angelina was very close to her sister, looking up to her and only wishing for her happiness. Her devotion to her would be one of the things that would cause her downfall into madness and pain.

A bad start:

Angelina fell in love with a sand ninja named Tsuna when she was 15 and of the rank of chuunin, but became distraught when she found out that her sister was marrying him. Because she was very close to her sister and cared deeply for her, she tried to be happy that the two people she loved most were getting married. However, after their marriage, she came to hate the color red again, color Tsuna had complimented her with. After their son was born, she worked to earn her doctor's license, against the wishes of her parents who wanted to see her stay in the arts of battle ninjutsu. She frequently played with her sister's son and his fiancée, stating that these were the people she loved the most.

The redhaired young woman later married Baron Hamington, who treated her lovingly and gently, stating that he did not mind that she harbored feelings for another. She called him an honest and pure man who treated her well and made her happy. She became pregnant, but after a carriage accident in which her husband was killed, her womb and unborn child had to be removed to save her own life. Rachel frequently visited her in the hospital, understanding the pain she was in. However, Angelina became even more bitter about her sister's marriage, as her sister had a child while Angelina could now never have children of her own. Her loss also caused her great strife as a doctor, as she regularly performed abortions on prostitutes, who considered pregnancy nothing but a nuisance.

A beautiful rain of blood:

Eventually, Angelina snapped and killed for the first time in her life, slicing the throat of a prostitute with a scalpel while she was performing a surgery to remove a womb.
When she was found, she was covered in blood and laughing madly and crying at the same time. It was the fault of that woman, she had said, it was her fault for thinking that having children was stupid and a nuisance. The nurses and a few other medical ninjas tried to stop her while she was standing shaking in the middle of the pool of blood.

When the ANBU finally came on the crime scene, they only found dismembered humans and a woman with it's throat slit open. Angelina had disappeared.

New village, new position, search for a Xzeno Master:

At some point, after wandering in madness and sadness, Angelina got called "Madam Red". She had become an assasin to the perfection along with one of the best doctors in the world. Never having been denounced and put in a bingo book, she assumed that the ANBU thought she had been killed too; the bodies had been mutilated and crushed in such manner that they weren't recognizable at all. Having cut her long red hair along with it, it was sure that they thought she was one of the dead people.
In Blood village, she attained the rank of ANBU and after a while decided to work for her own account; the Kage couldn't care less, since she had sworn she'd kept on helping the village and only did more jobs for some "pocket-money". Angelina was many things, but she certainly was loyal and silent as a tomb.

Having contacted an old Xzeno member who mysteriously died a day after that in a pool of blood, had told her about Laria, a Xzeno master. Deciding to learn the ways of her clan, Madam Red decided to take off to look for her...
