The Rift From Oblivion

Subject: The Rift From Oblivion Wed Oct 06, 2010 10:28 pm

In Oblivion: Icisia and Seirei walked through the scorching heat of Oblivion. This was now the second time Icisia had been through here today, and she was sweating like crazy with this cloak on. So far the demons hadn't been too bad; perhaps they had learned a lesson from earlier? Icisia stops and places her hand on the ground. She is trying to sense where they would enter if she were to open a rift here.

After a few seconds of pondering, Icisia stands and turns to Seirei. "I'm really sorry about taking you away from your village. If you like, I can return and save as many as possible?"

So here we were in the the nameless, oblivious, dimension. She was moving, walking around before she stood back up and spoke to me. It was hot and my clenched fists were making my hands feel clammy. I looked down. I heard her comment, but I didn't respond right away. After about a minute of so, I did. But my voice held an angry and a saddening note to its tone, making it sound so fragile it could break at anytime.

"What use would that be? I'd just lose you to that heartless bastard. And I can't risk that. You're a jounin and someone special to me on top of that. I was planning to make you something important, like my body guard, that is if you would be up for the job. Aurora has already fallen victim to the tragedy and the venomous hands of that wretched devil, Kuro. Sometime soon we need to find a way to kill him, and I mean fast. A destroyed village as you said can be repaired. However, a life cannot be restored as a village can. That heartless.... And to think I let this happen! Some Kage I am, it's time I started acting like one! I can only hope that most of the people there save as many as possible. I have some of the children working on that, hopefully they follow directions. But I have to rightfully thank you for saving me from that monster and facing him off to my death... again..."

I looked up and my eyes revealed to be a deep shade of red. A dark shade of red. And normally my eyes do not change, they just reflect off the light, with their gray-blue color, sometimes looking gray, and sometimes looking blue. But today they were red. Stained with not only pain from losing many things upon the years.. but the anger that was surging through my blood. My fists clenched even tighter as my gaze met with Icisia's, and we stood there in a moment of silence, waiting for the others' voice to ring in and break it.

Icisia listened to Seirei talk, and held her silence a few seconds longer after her friend had finished speaking. She stands up and locks eyes with Seirei, but can't help but notice they are fiery red. Perhaps a hidden bloodline or something? Icisia shook that idea off, knowing she had to deal with the matters at hand.

"Seirei, I can seriously go back to save more. I have enough energy, and if he were to attack, I've got defenses," she states flatly. "I know you love your village, but in this case, we can't dwell on what's happened. We must be quick to react. Grieving can come later, when we've done absolutely all we can to save as much as possible of what's precious to you."

She pulls the right sleeve of her cloak back and closes her eyes. When she opens them, several seals instantly light up on her arm. "See this seal here? It's a healing seal. I can help," she says to her friend.

My eyes stayed on hers for a second before moving and looking to where the sky should be in this oblivious dimension. My clenched fists that were tight, were slightly looser now. She was calming me down bit by bit. I was never a person to dwell on the past, no matter how recent or long ago it was. I was more "in the moment", however the destruction of my precious home is something that was happening as we speak. It was something I held dear to my heart and that I just couldn't set aside. I looked at her, my eyes still that soft shade of red.

"Icisia-sensei. You are someone special to me, and I understand you wish to help. I wish to help as well, but you have to understand, as strong as we may be together, if we go back there, we'll be killed. But, I guess it's better risking everything than nothing at all sometimes. You're right... we have to help somehow."

I de-clenched my fists and let them fall free and open. Our eyes met once more and I nodded, they were still that shade of red. Stained with slight pangs of anger. I smirked and kept looking at her.

"Let's go save OUR village."

Icisia nods. "We must train though, if we are ever to face that evil in your village. If not prepared, we will perish."

OOC: I'm really sorry I haven't posted yet. I've literally not had the motivation to post anything lately due to being so frelling busy all of the time Sad

"I do agree. So even though I may be a Kage, even I can learn. So let I have two teachers. One of time and the other, you, my friend. Teach me all you know Icisia-san."

I smiled slightly at that. It was like old times again. It was like when I was a baby genin and just started off on my journeys and missions in the ninja world. Icisia was my very first sensei and she was going to be perhaps my last before I could do things on my own. I thought it would be a smart idea to train and so she agrees. Even though it is hot in this realm or rift of oblivion, I had to deal with it. It might heighten my endurance in certain situations and when I go back, hopefully, I shall be able to save my village from the perils it faces in evil instead of just standing by and watching it suffer...

OOC: It's no problem Icisia-chan. ^^ I'm happy that you replied, that's all. I like this roleplay with you and I, it's pretty awesome and so that's why I wanted to continue it and not have it die, y'know? =)

Icisia nods to her friend. "Alright, you were apart of the Xzeno clan, were you not? My memory is slowly coming back to me, but parts are still blacked out." She shifts her weight onto her left side, leaning on a nearby boulder waiting for Seirei to answer her question.

I nodded still having those same fierce staring eyes. Our gazes continue to lock onto the others' as I walk over to the boulder she had landed on.

"Indeed, I was."

I gently shook my head from side to side keeping that same piercing glare in my eyes. However that glare was softening into something understanding. I stood there after shaking my head and allowed my reasonable voice to be heard.
