PostSubject: The Death of Ryuu Satsukari   Sat Nov 27, 2010 1:52 pm

Ryuu stood upon the top of the highest glacier in the Aurora village. While watching over the village he waited, he had already decided upon the fact that today was the day. He had long served his village but he was tired of all of the duties of village council he had to deal with. He had set everything up, his body would destroy all traces of his bloodline in his eyes. He had a scroll that carried his "will" inside his jacket pocket. With that he took a few steps and did one of the most dishonorous thing a ninja could do in his life, he cometed suicide.

Ryuu Satsukari's Will

To my daughter i leave;
A copy of all of my justu scrolls
The title of "Phoenix sage"
The Summoning scroll to the Phoenix's
My Chakra Cross
My Panther summoning and companion 'Kuroneko'

To my sister Seirei Sora I leave;
My sword which was once our father's along with the message "I know it was originally intended to aid darkness...but i believe the light in your soul can tame this sword, when you find the time to be right...i also ask that you give this weapon to my daughter..."
My Moon element scroll
I also ask that she takes care of my daughter...as if she was her own.

To my sister Satsukari Mari i leave;
A copy of my Darkness justu scroll
The title of clan leader
The message "Good bye my sister...I leave you with a sad good bye...Train well..."

Kazuki Shikimori
I know a will is not the place just to ask a person for something...but you are a trusted friend and i don't have anything to give you that would symbolize the friendship we share well enough...but i ask that you look after my daughter, as if she was your own...Every little girl deserves a father...and I won't be here anymore to look after her.

"I ask you do me the favor of not barrying me but freezing my body within the center of this glacier...I wish to be remember not as i am now....but as the ninja i once was.."

((OC - once the site picks up a bit i will be creating a new account to RP as my daughter...any one is free to post here and find Ryuu...and i ask if you decided to have a funeral for Ryuu you do it in this topic))

PostSubject: Re: The Death of Ryuu Satsukari   Wed Dec 01, 2010 7:37 pm

It was a gloom day. The sky was dark with the filthy ashes of hardworkers' toil and the clouds were a discolored and misleading shade of gray. It was a sorrowful atmosphere. And as I sat looking out the window from the Kage's point of view, I couldn't help but wonder why nature suddenly began to act the way it was. I needed to think and when it came to that time, I made my way to the rainbow glaciers just off the borders of the Aurora village. While I was gone for the short time I was, I allowed one of my top advisors to take over the watchful eye for me. They understood what I needed to do. The air, even though polluted on with the shambles of the Aurora village's destruction, still felt and smelled fresh to me. I needed that fresh breath of air and it was oh so satisfying to my nose. I did not like being trapped in one place for too long. Soon, I made my way to and arrived at the glaciers. However, there was something there that I would have never expected to see. From a distance it looked as though it was body, the body of a man, lying dead on the glacier's cold icy ground. Being curious, I ran over to the body, only to have the investigative emotion that lurked in my eyes turn to coldness and unexpressable sorrow. There, on the ground, lied my brother, dead.

This came as even a shock to me. A horrible shock that ran through my own body and made me shiver at times. It pulled and tugged at my heart strings as if this pain wanted them to snap. And if they did that would be my giving in. I couldn't cry, I felt the tears well up, but I couldn't cry. I had to remain strong. I stayed silent, looking at his body, trying to figure how this could have happened. It looked as though he committed suicide. I wondered why. I suppose he had enough of the tortures of life upon him... but then I found something. A scroll that was with him. Curious, naturally, I went to pick it up. When I opened it, I began to read what it said. He did leave me something but nothing would compare to the hurt I felt in my heart. To lose my brother like this... it was a shame. I rolled up the scroll and put it in my pouch that was attached to me. I already missed him.

"My brother.. I knew you as two. Tsumi and Ryuu and I accepted both. I loved both... your darkness was my protection. Even so, I'd like to add a thank you for protecting me. I would have never come this far if you hadn't. I died once.. it wasn't pleasant. Many people wanted revenge, especially you. That showed you loved me.... I will not ask why you took your life as you did, for it is not important, nor is it a reasonable question. I have my instruction from your will and I will carry it out. I promise to you Ryuu, that this will of yours, everything you have done for this village and the next, and the power you once had will not go in vain. Your kindness and loving nature towards your family, your protection of anything you felt was helpless and you, as a general person will not go in vain. Your blood might be spilled today on this terribly solemn hour, but know that in my heart you'll always be. You'll help guide me and make decisions from up above. And even though your body is still here, you will still be alive to me. For, your memory will live on in many people... so far as that happens, you're not truly dead or gone. So today is not the death of somoene, nor is it a farewell forever, but it is merely a goodbye so that the other may leave and have a happy trip. .... Yeah, that's what it is. A goodbye... A solemn goodbye with a heavy heart... I salute you... my brother..."

I looked down and closed my eyes to concentrate. Beforehand I had stood him up against the backdrop of the glacier and hugged him tighter than anything. I shakily cast the jutsu and sealed his body in the ice as he had asked of me. And once I was sure that I had done everything I possibly could at the scene to which had unexpectedly broke my heart today, my first tear fell. After a small while of a little more grieving, I headed back to the Kage's office. It was a sorrowful day in the Aurora village.

Time has sufficiently passed ever since I have visited this sight. Enter Sora and Kimiko.

As I would have approached this place with Kimiko, my eyes would have turned more of a gray shade then a blue one. This was gravely upsetting me on the inside, tearing my heart to shreds. There was still that agony sweltering deep inside of me, but I didn't let it show. I couldn't let it show. My composure kept strong as the determined look in my eyes and on my face never let up. Although on the inside, I wanted to cry.

We then arrived and I stopped right in front of the place where he was frozen in the block of ice. I looked upon his body with pained eyes. And then I looked to Kimiko for a second before looking back to the body and then to the ground. Softly I spoke.

"This is the place... this is where your father is.... right.... there."

This was the first time Kimiko had been here since her father had died. As she approached she looked up to see that her father was frozen in a block of ice. "He..hes frozen?" she said in shock, she had no idea that her father had wished to be preserved in the block of ice.

"Yes... that he is."

I nodded. My eyes still containing the ounces of pain that seemed to be seeping through them. A deep sorrow was felt on this block of ice, floating across the sea. And, I stood in the moments of silence, watching and waiting for what my niece would do next.

Kimiko walked up to the glacier placing her hand right on the ice. "D-Dad..." she said as a small sigh escaped her mouth. 'I'll bring you back...I know your not done here..I just know it...' she thought silently to herself.

When she turned to her aunt, her eyes where surprisingly full of nothing but pure determination. "Sora-sama....I'm leaving...I'm going to travel the world...take some time to train...I would rather you gave me permission...but if i have to i will leave here as a rouge" She said simply, everything she needed was already set aside by the gates of Aurora. And all of her father's jutsu scrolls and the Phoenix summoning scroll were hidden within pockets in her clothing.

So she was planning to leave. That was understandable. I mean my duty was to protect her and take care of her for the sake and by request of my brother, but I could see it in her eyes that she was determined about this matter. I smiled softly and closed my eyes chuckling.

"Permission to leave Aurora and go train on your own for a bit. Well, that's understandable. It's remarkable how the fighting spirit of your nuclear blood family has spread to you. Well, I give you my full permission. Just remember to be careful and safe. Don't want you to get killed now.

I crossed my arms and opened my eyes looking at her, with that same small smile I had put on before.

"I hope one day you strength grows to be even more immense than mine. No, more immense than your father's. Good luck, Kimiko. And don't forget to stop in and visit me every once in a while. If you're not gone I can't miss you right?"

I smiled.

Kimiko smiled and reached over and hugged her aunt. "I'll be careful don't worry," she said with a smile. "I'll come visit too i promise." She said before turning away and beginning to walk. "Next time you see me...I'll be much stronger, I promise" She said with a small grin as she fingered the chakra cross around her neck before quickly and abruptly snapping it off.

This would remove the sealing effects of the cross allowing her Devil's eye bloodline to come into affect. She then did a quick spin and tossed the cross to her aunt. "Take care of it for me aunty? That was special to dad...but I'm going to need the effects my bloodline gives me...Even if it causes me to go a bit crazy..." She said before she released a loud whistle that caused both Kuroneko and Amaya to come running up to her before the three of them walked off.

"Surely, have fun on your journey. Be brave. We'll meet again so this isn't goodbye."

I nodded and hugged back as she hugged me. Soon, she let go and handed me her chakra cross. I knew what this meant and as she began to slowly turn her course and walk away, she threw me the cross. Obviously, I caught it and clutched it in my palm. I smiled proudly of the girl that was walking away right in front of me. I looked down to the cross and her words, her last words, played over in my mind again. I closed my eyes and turned my back, facing the gate to the Aurora village. (The doors swung wide open and the two ninja guards standing there, guarding it, unmoved.) The sun was setting and I had one thought before walking back into my village.

'Never would I have dreamed I would hear the same words my brother spoke to me so long ago.. she truly is like her father.'
