General Information
Name: Yukie Komachi

Nickname: Some people mispronounce her name by saying it as "Yuki". It has grown to be her nickname although she still objects to be called as that.

Gender: Female

Body Type: Slender

General Appearance. She has dark blue eyes, short silver hair, she carries a long katana, and a much shorter sword. She wears a dark green and white dress, a black ribbon on her hair, white socks and black shoes. Her gaze always seem to have a cold piercing feeling with it no matter what the emotion she is trying to portray, thus making other people suspect she has no emotion.

Personality: Although still young, she has a blunt and straightforward personality that can be quite cold sometimes. Of course, she still does not know as much as maybe those that the elders know since she is still a child. However, her intelligence and way of speaking could mistake her for someone that is about a few years older than her actual age. Not much people go to her for sympathy, though, since she seems to basically act as if she has her own problems and if the person is persistent, give a very cold and hard piece of advice that seems to have a slight bit of truth in it but not entirely the right thing to do. Despite her apparent stoic personality, she harbors a soft side for anyone who can see through her personalities and see her more fragile side.

She tries to avoid conflicts leading to battle as much as possible but she is dead serious when it comes to her training due to a certain fear that she has and her will to avoid ever encountering it. If a person is very very observant, he or she can usually see a bit of shakiness in Yukie's hands whenever she handles a sword or right before she gets focused in battle. In battle, she seems to use a more offensive physical close-ranged type of combat. She also doesn't notice any of the injuries she gets during battle since she seems to be only focusing on her outer environment during the combat process and seemingly not feeling any pain at all if she gets struck. She only notices injuries if someone says she has it and seems to worry greatly if she does see an injury.

Other: Her name is pronounced with the "e" (like saying yuki-eh), not just as if saying "Yuki". Whenever she hears lullabies or any songs sounding like a childish lullaby, she either screams at the person to keep quiet since it irritates her or just walks away without a single word.

~Bio~
Yukie was born as a completely healthy child. She was a child to a blacksmith father and her mother who just stayed at home to do chores and tend their garden filled with beautiful flowers. Ever since she learned how to walk, her father took her to his workshop to watch him make different weapons and equipment out of metal. During night, she always sat down on her mother's lap as she was lulled to sleep in their garden. During her fifth birthday, she was given three gifts from her mother and father. Her mother gave her a very beautiful flower in an elegantly designed vase and her father gave her two swords: a long katana and a shorter blade. Since then, only a little of her habits changed. She still went to her father's workshop to watch him and her mother still lulled her to sleep in their flower garden. This time, however, she practiced with her two swords as well despite her young age. Of course, her mother and father helped her a bit. The flower eventually died and she felt very bad about it, thinking that she might not have taken enough care of it. Her mother told her that "Everyone has their time and it seems like it was the flower's time to pass away to its new life". To make sure that Yukie will feel better, her mother replaced it with an origami rose made out of very durable paper that will be sure to last very long as long as it is left untouched by anything that might damage it. Yukie thanked her mother and her bad feeling went away. She kept training with her sword and after two years, she became very good at sword handling. Eventually she enrolled in the ninja academy.

When she reached nine years old and was attending the ninja academy at Aurora, it happened. She got home only to see her whole house burning. Stricken with shock and panic, all she could do was rush in desperately. When she reached the entrance, all she saw was a blinding light and then it faded to show the burning inside of their house. Her swords were in her hands for some reason. She called out to her parents and upon hearing no reply, she tried going to her father's workshop but it was completely wrecked and she had no way of getting in. She searched the whole house and found no sign of her father. The last place she searched was the garden all the flowers were burnt down. There seemed to be no sign of her mother as well upon first glance and she was about to give up, falling on her knees and feeling the intense heat building up in the air around her. She was about to start crying when she saw something placed safely in the middle of the pond where they gather water. It was the paper flower in the vase and it was floating on the water, only slightly burnt. Beside the pond as well, she finally saw the dead body of her mother who might have died of the fumes and exhaustion. She ran there and tried desperately waking up her mother and upon realizing nothing else can be done, she dove into the small pond and grabbed the vase and the flower, holding it tightly in her hands. She then realized that in the panic and confusion, she did not notice a lot of cuts and scrapes on her body as well as a cut on her forehead. Upon losing blood and energy, she collapsed into a coma.

The next day, she found herself hospitalized and beside her was a medical nin who was treating her for the past few days. She was told not to panic and was told about what the people who looked into it found out. Her father's furnace where he forged his works suddenly burst into flames and killed her father who was not expecting it and was standing very close. Her mother tried helping but was too late as the house started to catch fire. The entrance showed signs of initially being barricaded by debris but all that were found was several small pieces around the entrance with clean uniform cuts. It seemed that her mother tried escaping through the garden with the vase but was crippled by a block of wood that fell. She might have removed it successfully and might have crawled towards the pond to save the last of their memories, but the paper flower was nothing but burning paper by the time she was rescued. She was about to bawl when she heard something in her head. "Everyone has their time..." It gave her a bit of courage but she was still suffering from great trauma and just cried a bit.

She left the academy for a year. Her cuts were completely gone and her burns completely healed. However, it seemed like her nervous system got permanently damaged and she would feel more numbness but still feel a slight sense of touch although not significant for her to notice if she doesn't try to notice it. She recovered from her mental trauma a year later and resumed her studies at the academy. She was ten years old when she was released from the hospital.

Once she reaches a certain opportunity to strike her next supposed move, she feints the attack and slashes in a different way so fast that it makes it look as if there were two of her slashing at the same time.

Habits: Walking away from someone talking if she loses interest, laying down on the ground and looking at the sky when she's not training, trying too hard in training, staring admiringly at flowers if there are any in the area and if no one else is there

Weaknesses: Fighting people more physically capable compared to her, panicking when she knows she is losing and often being reckless, not being able to effectively fight long-range, not being able to work well in a battle in a team, not knowing her physical limits

Strengths: Very good at close-range battle due to her well-developed physical abilities, able to adapt quickly to different situations, good observational skills, persistence in attacks with a little control as well, able to dish out damage and keep fighting until her body simply gives up

Fears: Death (her biggest fear), being restrained from moving, large fires, a feeling of no hope or escape
