To the Shadow Country

Icisia walks down a mountain path, her backpack on her back and a light step in her feet. She moves swiftly, for the knows this country is swarming with thieves and she doesn't feel like dealing with them today. She turns and looks back at Sei with a smile and motions for him to pick up the pace.

It's getting dark, so Icisia is trying to gain as much ground as possible before having to set up camp. The two come upon a river where they stop to get a drink and rest for a second. She yawns and wipes a little sweat from her brow before standing up and walking once more.

Not long after, they come to a monstrous gorge in between two mountains. It's so deep that Icisia can't even see the bottom. "Whoa, that is really deep," she mutters as she looks for a quick way across. As she turns to her right, a kunai flies right by her head. Taken back, she spins around activating her Xzeno eyes to see where that kunai came from. From a distance, she can see the electric charge of 20 shinobi in the trees about 300 meters away.

"Seirei, we've got a little company. My guess is their after our ryo," she says to her partner. "Ready?" she asks as she takes her stance with a grin. Another kunai flies at Seirei, Icisia jumps into action by grabbing her own kunai and throwing it in the way of the one headed towards Sei. In an instant, she is dashing towards the trees to knock some thieves' heads around.

As she reaches the trees, a fireball shoots towards her. She spins to the right ducking behind a boulder. As she looks up, she can see flames all around her. "Okay, not ordinary thieves. They know a little jutsu. Easy enough." She waits until the flames simmer out, then jumps on top of the boulder and activates Xzeno Seal 16 (Blooming). This causes beautiful pink flowers to grow all around the enemies. Once they bloom though, they shoot tiny needles at the enemies, temporarily paralyzing any who get hit. Icisia grins as she watches the thieves try to avoid her Xzeno attack.

Much to Icisia's disappointment, every single thief is hit by the petals and paralyzed. "Well that was lame," she mumbles as she walks through the limp bodies towards a small village at the edge of the mountains.
