The village walls of Sunagakure; basically, a whole mountain range surrounded the village, making it impossible to enter by climbing. The mountains were carved to look flat, and shorter, but still almost impossible to breach. if, however, someone makes it on top of the walls, he/she could freely walk, as if on a plateau.

Asako saw the village's walls as the perfect hiding and daydreaming place. No annoying sounds like screams, fights, laughing...Just the wind carrying the sand of the desert and sometimes a sand lizard that crawled up the wall. But nothing else. Also, it was the highest place of the village and not many people tried to climb up there, so, Asako was almost sure to be in peace all the time. She used her chakra to make her arms and legs stronger, so that she came quicker at the top of the Eastern Wall. She was used to climbing it and was in fact one of the only things she didn't saw as "troublesome" in her life. When she was up there, she yawned and looks down to the village and the hospital in particular. "Bleh, people can be so troublesome..." she said, referring to some patient she met in the hospital. And without thinking about anything else than at her cloud watching, Asako laid down on the wall and began to daydream, hoping Yakate wouldn't find her...

"What now..." Yakate was streaking through the village streets, by the many houses, past many astonished-looking people. A few minutes ago... He was sitting in his office, when more reports came of missing ninja. And a dead body was found as well. Petty thefts and raids, and yet so many died. Useless ninja, but still... so weak. Pathetic. And then, he came to look upon a childhood photo of himself; one that he hanged on the wall right behind him. "Asako..." Year after year, she used to fail at the academy, too stubborn or lazy to get to her next rank. She was capable of so much, but lagged on at genin... merely genin... that was when he gave her a birthday present as she crossed maturity. Special jonin of Sunagakure, specialized in the arts of medical ninjutsu. But still... What if she was attacked? Assaulted by a band of bandits? Dastardly young men? That wouldn't be hard; she wandered throughout the village all day. He would rarely see her now... And that moment, he set out his mind to... ... He just noticed a strip of clothing flash away from the top of a cliff; the village wall cliff to be precise. Ah... top of the village walls? How... exposed. He stood some spot under the walls, a few meters away from it, and used the sand beneath him to elevate himself up to the flattened mountain top. There she was, daydreaming, eyes closed, lying flat on the ground. So vulnerable to any type of attack that would befront her. Vultures? Neh. ... Now to catch her attention. He was standing at such as spot; she wouldn't see him even if she opened her eyes. She was staring at the cluds, or daydreaming eyes closed; he cound't tell. Failproof way to catch a girl's attention? Simple. Regardless of the situation, be perverted. Chuckling to himself silently, he made a trickle of sand slide across the ground, getting closer to her. Clueless as she was... hm. He slowly, but accurately, sent that trickle of sand creeping up inside her shirt, closing in upon...

"Yaka...Stop that now before I decide to stop healing people again for 8 months..." was the lazy reply he got. Asako just opened her eyes and looked at her brother. "You just couldn't leave me alone?" she whined lazily. "I worked all day long in the hospital, healing those idiots of raiders who doesn't use teamwork to kill a simple outlaw. They could have encircled him and use...and nevermind. This is just to troublesome to explain." And on those words, she closed her eyes again decided not to move from her spot just yet.

... Blackmail. Gah, being the eleder sibling had it's perks. Irritated, Yakate drew the sand away from insider her shirt. He couldn't force her to get up... lazy as she was. He walked over silently to the opposite side of the clidd, staring into the horizon; pure, sandy desert. The hot sun left waves of heat swirling in the air, scorching hot sun, sweat drops poured out of his hair, seeping into his skin, his body. Soon his clothes would be drenched with sweat. Hm... But he would need time to convince his sister to do what he wanted. Talk it out... angh. He was in eternal debt to her for taking care of him during his youth. So... this was how he would repay her? Um... "Why do you heal people? Why did you decide to become a medical ninja? Is it because you were obliged to do so... or because you just wanted to, your sense of justice told you to?" He was still gazing out at the desert, speaking without a trace of unconfort. Being the kazekage had changed his atittude slightly, made him more stiff and stern. But still oh so perverted and carefree. He didn't look at her while speaking, but spoke loud enough, just for her to ehar. His hands were locked behind his back, and, looking incresingly like some kind of philospher, he waited for an answer~~

Asako sat up and sighed. "Why medic? Because it's the only thing that doesn't ask too much energy, that doesn't involves fighting and because I'm like the only serious and qualified medic ninja in Suna?..." The young girl rubbed the back of her head and looked at the sky again. "I hate war, quarrels, unecessary violence. We payed enough losses because of that already...Why should there be one more person who will participate in it? I chose to be myself and being lazy. So, no fighting for me, no action for me, no troubles for me, that's all. And at the same time I'm not giving up on the vilage, like I promised I would do when I turned genin." She shrugged lightly and closed her eyes. The wind blew in her black hair and the sun was tickleling her skin nicely with it beams. A short silence came between the two siblings. "I know I deceived you, Mom and Dad, Yaka...but I'm trying to make it up in my own way..." Asako groaned, ran her hand in her lose hair and sighed again. "So, nii-sama, why did you come to see me?"

Sweat gathered on his forehead. Whether it was because of the hot weather, or because of his anxiety, he couldn't tell. In both cases, he was uncomfortable. Heavily. But he coulnd't stop worrying about her, not while she was in this state. A full-time medicaly ninja, the best of Sunagakure. Respectable enough rank for being the adoptive sister of the kazekage, but still... "Then... Have you ever considered what you would do if you get attacked by any enemy ninja, and no one else is around to protect? What then? All you trained as is a medic... you can't defend yourself..." He would carry on right to the point, but felt like lingering. The words caught up in his throat for some reason, he gulped just to relieve the real pressure he was feeling. And...

Asako groaned, annoyed already. "Again this conversation? I can do a lil' taijutsu and poisoned hand and serpent's fang...Why whould I learn more? I mean, I can defend myself, like that time with those bandits. I mean, I was badly injured but still alive, right?" The older sister of the Kazekage prayed in her head that Yakate wouldn't bring up that she had to stay in bed for 3 months and that she was lucky, because other ninjas had appeared to save her...If he did, she wouldn't have any other choice than to follow his orders as Kazekage...

"A lil' taijutsu and poison jutsu, and your forbidden jutsu won't help in the long run..." "Doesn't it make you curious-" In mid-sentence, he raised one arm. Drawing up sand with it, he made a handisgn, forming about 50 shuriken out of the sand, and shooting them all forward, into the desert outside of Sunagakure. "-How I did that?" Turning around to face her, he continued; "And besides... your still not ready to defend yourself. You should remember, better than me perhaps, that mishap with the bandits? Defend yourself you did, but you were left only an inch away from death? You might have taken care of me in the past, but you aren't ready to take care of yourself yet..." He shook his head, and took a deep, long breath, exhaling with weak force. He didn't act like he was perspiring at all, the sweat betrayed nothing of his mood. He turned his head, and noticed that the shuriken he had thrown a while ago disintegrated into sand and fell to the ground. It wasn't the most effective jutsu for long range. But still... "And-" Yakate stopped in mid-sentence yet again. he didn't want to finish that sentence, it was uncomfortable... And too... icky. Hopefully she would comply to his means right after his first speech... speech. Hah.

Asako stood up, brushed the dust and sand off her clothes, sighed like she was going to suffer and turned to her brother. "I hate you" she said, half-joking, half-smiling. "Now show me your stuff and I'll try to learn a jutsu or two. BUT I'm not moving from her, okay?" She smiles, half wickedly, because she knew that her brother didn't really like high places...

Yakate sighed, and looked frustrated for a while. Then just broke out laughing. Stubborn, to a whole new level. Asako Tsuno~ After a while, he stopped laughing, and just chuckled. Theory session; training his sister. Who was 3 years older than him. ... Yeah. Just another training session. "Glad to see you accepted. Now... This is-" He waves an arm, over the whole of the village. The village that was his. Sunagakure. "-The village hidden in the sand. So... As your self-defense, you will now master the element of sand. Perfect for a lazy one like you. Especially because..." He smirked, amused. He just noticed how perfect sand would be for his sister. "You won't have to take a single step forward to learn how to use it." Smiling a false smile, he walked up to her, right beside her." Now, sand... do you have any idea whatsoever on how to use sand?

Asako shrugged. "You need a bijuu? Like Gaara-sama, that Kami keeps his soul safe, had? Or, infuse chakra in the sand like with puppet-jutsus? I have no idea nii-sama?" The young kunoichi yawned and stretched. Then she looked lazily at her brother. She loved him dearly and was proud of him. Except maybe about the perverted part, but yeah, what can you do about that? "And what's so funny?" she asked half surprised, half-curious...

Yakate shook his head roughly, "No, nothing." "And about your assumption... yes and no. You won't need a sealed beast to control sand, manipulation can occur just like puppet jutsu. Use you chakra-" Just like his past examples, he stopped in mid-sentence. With that, he looked at the ground, and foced a moderately large lump of sand to rise, float, and fall. "-To manipulate sand. Just like using chakra threads to control a puppet, but more advanced... For now, just try and move sand. Just to see if you have the capability to learn and master the element of sand..."

Asako rolled her eyes and put her hair in two buns with some ribbons she had in her pocket and held them in place with senbons, using them as chopsticks. "Move sand, eh?" she asked while doing that. "With my chakra? Sure...I'll try. Bleh, this is just so troublesome to do..." The young girl closed her jade eyes and concentrated. She focused some chakra in the sand, through her feet and the ground. It was hard, because sand wasn't a stable element which stayed in one piece. After trying three times, and failing badly, she stopped. "This is too troublesome to do. Why am I even doing this?" she sighed. "Give me some advice or so..."

Yakate pondered on the spot for a moment. Sand was... originally, a mixture of doton and fuu'ton, used to control precise sand grains, and use them as he did now. Sand manipulation jutsus. Just as he began to reply... His keen insight of the village noted some disturbance in the hospital. Taking a slight glance at the spot, he noticed that the whole spot... was burning in flames. Hellish flames... An uchiha was attacking the village? Why? What purpose would he have? But more importantly... It was his job to protect the village. Asa had to wait... or... hm? He wasn't slooking at Asa from the side of the cliff now, he walked over to gaze at his village. Showing no sign of concern, he said; "For now, practice and master the wind element, or earth, on your own. Sorry, kage duties call~" Abruptly, he sank into the sand beneath him, emerging... [Continued in village entrance]

Asako raised an eyebrow at her brother that disappeared so abruptly. The, she looked up to the spot her brother was looking at. She knew exactly what was in that direction: the library...and the hospital! The black haired girl felt a wind of panic overwhelming her when she saw the smoke from the afar. The first thing that came up in her mind was to run over there and help her brother and other people who were fighting there. And also to save her patients! There were several people waking up from surgeries and some other people who weren't in state to escape either. But what would have been the use to run? She would arrive too late. Her brother had the sand to take him down the walls and transport him anywhere he wanted to. She was still on foot. "Great...Now I have no other choide than go training." In a movement of anger, she took one senbon out of her hair with a sharp move. She felt her cheek cut without that the weapon touched her. Slowly, she put her finger on the wound and felt some blood. "It's pretty deep, even if it's smal" she thought. "How..." Than she remembered her first chakra type, which she never used: Wind....And wind was used by weapon users to make their weapons sharper and longer with their chakra. Asako chuckled and looked at the burning hospital that was in the afar. "Nii-sama, I owe you one...but now I've to find out how I did that...Soooooo troublesome!" And on those words, she began to concentrate her chakra in her hands....

He sat on the roof a building nearby, just watching the Kage and his sister run off. He looked towards the hospital wondering if he should help but still, no harm to him and no friends to worry about yet, this was a part of his village. Should he help? "Perhaps, it does harm the village if the Hospital goes down but still nobody seems to ask me for help anymore..." He leaned back against the roof, laying on his side as he watched the flames

Asako stared at the little paper in her hand. She had reminded herself how wind chakra was trained in the time of Gaara-sama, may Kami take care of his soul, and decided to use it. Since she had gotten some experience with her old sensei in how to find out her chakra type, she hald knew what to do. First, cut the little paper with her wind chakra...She did it ten years ago. But she wanted to prove herself she was still able to do it. Slowly, she added some wind chakra in her handpalms and poured them in the paper. The young girl heard a small noise and took her left hand off the paper. It had a small cut. "We have a long way to go..." she groaned. Asako plopped down on the ground and watched the clouds. She wanted to give up. 'Why do you heal people? Why did you decide to become a medical ninja? Is it because you were obliged to do so... or because you just wanted to, your sense of justice told you to?' rang the voice of the Kazekage in her head. "Shut up!" she growled in her head. But it was no use. He had asked the right question. What about her sense of justice? Also called in this case 'sense of duty'. She was a lazy person. But not a traitor. She looked at the little paper again. Medics needs willpower, chakra, excellent chakra control, sense of duty, patience, great concentration and if possible a good defense jutsu...Which she didn't really have. She was good in close range fighting...Well, that is if the oppenent is a newbie. Which in the next battle won't have probably. Asako put her hand on the paper again, concentrated a little more and cut it with no problem at all. "That's done. Now that thing with weapons." She sighed and looked at the silent desert which was in peace with the wind that day. "I wish I had some company..." The sister of the Kazekage shook her head. A Sand Shinobi wasn't supposed to think that way. "Back to work!" She took the senbon again and stared at it. Make it sharper than it already was was the whole trick. But, she liked finishing her moves with something elegant. "Wind Fang no Jutsu. I'll call it that name I think..." And with that idea in her head, she tried to get her wind chakra again around the weapon and give it some form... Than she saw the guy. Frowning, she stood up and yelled. "Hey you! Why aren't you helping over there? Maybe there's no one you love in there, but that might not be for everyone! Now move and go help!"

Was all he yelled back as he sat up, it had been almost a month since anybody had even spoke to him, more then likely due to the fact that he kept to himself |

Asako growled inside of her. She had no time for this. Or the will to do it. BUT this was HER hospital burning and HER brother fighting the crazy person who set the fire on. "You lazy bum! Go do you duty as shinobi! Staying there without doing anything just meanst you're a traitor to our village! Now go fight for your own village!" She observed the guy. Lazy, stubborn and seriously bored was her first judgment. Tsk. He didn't know to who he was talking to, that was for sure...
